Researchers with the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s Construction Engineering Research Laboratory recently collaborated with government and industry partners to develop a zero emission fuel cell powered emergency vehicle. The zero emission, fuel cell powered emergency vehicle, H2@Rescue, has a driving range of 180 miles round trip and provides up to 25 kilowatts of load-following exportable power for up to 72 hours once on site.
