The name "Apollo" carries significant symbolism associated with the sun, light, and space exploration. In Greek mythology, Apollo is the god of the sun and light, representing qualities like illumination, knowledge, and enlightenment. We selected the god of the sun because the light generated on the sun is from hydrogen fusion. This name was also thoughtfully chosen for the Apollo missions, including Apollo 11, which was a historic space mission that landed the first humans on the moon. Hydrogen played a crucial role in these missions, particularly in the Saturn V rocket that propelled the spacecraft into space.
