The United States Hydrogen Alliance (USHA) proudly announces the conclusion of its 2025 Fall Fellowship Program, an immersive experience designed to equip college students with hands-on knowledge and professional skills in hydrogen policy, communications, research, and strategic marketing.

The United States Hydrogen Alliance is proud to conclude our Fall 2025 Fellowship Program, recognizing the meaningful contributions of four exceptional students who spent the semester supporting our work across hydrogen policy, research, and strategic communication.
Fall 2025 Fellows
• Belle Kornas, University of Delaware — B.S., Energy & Environmental Policy
• Matthew Willmes, University of Delaware — B.S., Energy & Environmental Policy
• Tanishka Khanna, American University — B.A., International Studies; Minor in Economics
• Sydney Fung, University of California, Santa Barbara — B.A., Political Science & B.A., Communication (continued from Summer 2025)
Throughout the semester, our fellows translated their academic training into applied work—developing policy analyses, drafting research briefings, strengthening stakeholder outreach, and supporting communications initiatives that advance the growing U.S. hydrogen economy.
Their work directly contributed to USHA’s mission by helping inform state policymaking, elevate industry priorities, and expand educational resources for our members and partners.
“This fall, we continued to create a hands-on, tailored experience that enables our fellows to take ownership of meaningful projects,” said Roxana Bekemohammadi, Founder & Executive Director of USHA. “Each of them played a valuable role in supporting our policy and research efforts, and we’re grateful for their dedication and professionalism.”
We are proud to support the next generation of clean-energy leaders, and we look forward to following their continued success in the years ahead.
Congratulations to our Fall 2025 cohort — and thank you for being part of the USHA community.
