Sacramento, CA - The United States Hydrogen Alliance (USHA) is proud to launch its Fall 2025 Fellowship Program, welcoming two outstanding students who will spend the semester advancing USHA’s work in hydrogen policy, communications, research, and strategic marketing through tailored, hands-on projects aligned with each fellow’s field of study and emerging expertise.

Fall 2025 Fellowship Cohort

  • Belle Kornas, University of Delaware: B.S., Energy & Environmental Policy

  • Tanishka Khanna, American University: B.A., International Studies; minor in Economics

Both fellows are joining USHA to translate their academic training into applied work. Over the semester, they will collaborate with our policy, research, and communications teams on scoped projects aligned with their fields of study; turning analysis into actionable briefings, stakeholder outreach, and market insights that support member priorities and inform state and federal decision-making.

“This fall, we are excited to provide a more directly tailored experience for our fellows, allowing them to dive deeper into specific projects that align with their skills and interests,” said Roxana Bekemohammadi, USHA’s Founder and Executive Director. “By engaging in focused, hands-on work, they will directly contribute to USHA’s mission of advancing clean hydrogen while gaining valuable professional experience at the intersection of policy, technology, and communication.”

Building on the success of USHA’s summer fellowship, the fall program is designed to give fellows ownership of meaningful work products that support USHA’s strategic initiatives and the broader clean-hydrogen ecosystem, translating evidence into practical guidance for policymakers, industry, labor, and communities.
