The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced the launch of the "Good Jobs in Clean Energy Prize," offering over $3.3 million to place-based coalitions focused on creating good jobs in clean energy. This initiative, aligned with the Biden-Harris Administration's "High Road" economic and workforce development principles, aims to expand access to family-sustaining jobs in the clean energy sector. The prize will be awarded in three phases: Phase One will offer $50,000 to up to 15 teams for demonstrating robust partnerships, Phase Two will grant $100,000 to up to 10 teams for implementing Coalition Action Plans, and Phase Three will reward top-performing coalitions with up to $300,000. The DOE is accepting submissions for Phase One until January 31, 2025.
